We’ll take relief and recovery into our own hands with a social sesh that focuses on getting your body’s tissues moving and relaxed through Self Myofascial Rolling (SMR) while also chitchatting it up. Whether you’re a seasoned rolling pro or are brand new to rolling, it will be a great feel good time for all!
On the nerdy side we’ll discuss:
- the benefits of rolling
- various tools and applications
- basic rolling techniques
- how to assess your body’s needs
On the social side, we’ll share goals, recovery tips, ideas and more!
This class is open to all levels and designed for everyBODY, no matter how active or inactive you are. If you train weekly in fitness, pole, aerial, dance or circus this is a great opportunity for some guided active recovery.
Required (suggested) Equipment: Something to roll with! Options include but aren’t limited to: foam roller, peanut, tennis or lacrosse ball, yoga block, yoga Mat.
No rolling device? No problem. Here are some common household items you can totally use:
- Wine corks
- Marbles
- Canned good
- Frozen bottle of water
- Yeti or other “tough” cup
